This exquisite set of plant illustration plates is inspired by a botanical atlas meticulously drawn by students of Tokyo University of the Arts over a span of approximately two years. All featured plants are native to the highlands of Gunma Prefecture's Mt. Tanigawa. Employing delicate transfer techniques, these beautiful patterns are masterfully presented on fine white porcelain plates.

Produced by the renowned Japanese porcelain manufacturer Miyama, each piece is carefully fired at a high temperature of 1340 degrees Celsius, resulting in porcelain that is both lightweight and highly lustrous.
